Program

Cornerstone Christian Preschool is committed to partnering with parents in the training of their children to the glory of God.  Our program provides quality loving care, a safe and secure environment, and developmentally appropriate practices. Our program offers the children opportunities to feel successful, develop independence and self-government, use a variety of materials, and take part in activities which encourage creativity. All these dynamics emphasize concrete experiential learning which gives them just the right head start for Kindergarten.

Program

CCS is staffed with well-educated and experienced teachers. Most importantly, our teachers have a Biblical worldview themselves and are committed to setting the groundwork for a sound Biblical worldview for the children as well. They are excited about joining God at work in the lives of young children and building relationships with families. 

Requirements

Preschool students must be 3 years of age at the time of enrollment and fully potty-trained.  We are required by law to have a complete record of your child’s immunizations, or a current medical exemption.  See the letter below from the CA Department of Public Health for details.

The Application Process

1) Complete the Preschool Questionnaire and return it to the school office.

2) Fill out the top portion of the Pastor’s Recommendation form with your family information and ask your pastor to complete it.

3) Upon our receipt of the questionnaire, you can make an appointment with the Director to tour the preschool and receive the Registration Packet.  

4)After acceptance, the parents and Director will meet again to review the Preschool Handbook, discuss the expectations, and complete any missing registration documents.

Our Application Process includes these steps with the intent to assist families in making the decision for Christian education.

2023-24 Tuition Schedule

Morning Preschool Program:
8:15am – 12:15pm (4 hours a day)

Full Day Preschool
(English Language Learning focus)
8:15am – 3:15pm (7 hours a day)

ANNUAL ENROLLMENT FEE: $110
Drop-In Rates: Full Day $50     AM Half Day $30   Add PM: $20

Scheduled Late Pick Up Rate: $10 per hour

Late Fee: $1 per minute (per child) after scheduled pick-up time (12:30pm for Morning and 3:30pm Afternoon)

*If a child is left at school 30 minutes after closing without contact from parent, CA state law requires that we report it to the local authorities as child abandonment.
